Therefore, most of social housing projects have been delayed or stopped construction, so the number of apartments in this segment is very low. Specifically, the Ministry of Construction said that the whole country has 226 projects under construction, with 182,200 units, total area of about 9.11 million m2.
"The balance of budget capital for social housing development faces many difficulties because the social housing policy support program is not on the list of priority programs using central budget capital", reports. stated by the Ministry of Construction. According to the Ministry of Construction, Vietnam currently has 198 completed social housing projects, with 81,700 units, equivalent to 4,085 million m2.
